Hotel Edouard VII - Biarritz

My room was charming with crisp linens and an inviting ambiance. Enjoyed the lovely window that opened and let in fresh air. The hotel itself has beautiful decor that speaks to its history. Breakfast impressed with its presentation and variety, with fresh pastries that brightened my mornings. Despite these positives, I encountered a few nuisances. The shower's water flow lacked power. My room's location in the basement made it somewhat chilly and limited my internet access. The staff, however, were really good was nice. A good place that could improve on a few details.

Very clean bed in the double room, plus an electric kettle, a mini bar fridge and air conditioner. Wonderful view of street. Great service overall and parking on-site. Had free Wi-Fi throughout the property: D

Great central location, perfect for strolling to the beach and nearby restaurants. The communal areas are cozy, offering pleasant spots for relaxation with a drink.

The bathroom sink design is a letdown-barely any space between the tap and the basin, leading to constant overflow onto the floor. Soundproofing could be improved. Thin doors let in noise from the corridor.

The walk to my room on the third floor was a bit of a challenge after long days of exploring, and there is limited onsite parking available, which requires a short walk to the nearby public garage.

I totally loved the breakfast served in the beautiful conservatory! The staff was really good and so helpful . Only downside was the slightly challenging walk to my room on the third floor 😅

I had a good stay at this charming hotel, just a short walk from the amazing Rocher de la Vierge and the fine beaches, making it perfect for leisurely city strolls and exploring local landmarks.

The Standard Room was comfy with a bed that felt just right after a long day. It was clean and had a charming vibe, mixing old elegance with modern comforts. I loved the little details the staff added, like a fan to help cool the room. The ambiance was peaceful, so I got solid sleep. But, it could have used a bit more space to move around, especially with luggage. It hit the right notes for coziness.
